Corporatesponsor Teams

CorporateSponsor teams are mixed-gender teams comprised exclusively of employees/ members of the enterprise/ organisation and their family members.

OpenTeams and All-FemaleTeams

OpenTeams are made up of keen Dragonboaters from all walks of life, abilities, strengths, weaknesses, etc who all enjoy Dragonboating for an amazing amount of reasons.

To enter an OpenTeam:

There will be two categories of OpenTeams - mixed gender and all female.

For the mixed gender teams, a minimum of 4 female paddlers are required in the boat when racing.

• No restrictions on individual team members in terms of employer

• A minimum number of 4 female paddlers in the boat when racing as a mixed-gender team

• Team members must be 16 years of age or older

• Teams may consist of up to 20 members (16 paddlers, 1 drummer and up to 3 substitutes)

• Some teams may consist of employees of one workplace who simply wish to race as an OpenTeam.

Some examples of OpenTeams include:

Breast cancer teams, students from the University, workplace friends whose business doesn't sponsor their team, clubs, and more.

OpenTeam and All Female Registration fee is a minimum of CHF 2000 per team and must be paid by May 31st , 2010. 

Additional fundraising is encouraged and all funds raised should be in by August 30th, 2010. 
Fundraising Forms are available for download for those wishing to seek individual pledges for fundraising.

Team Registration and Waiver Form

The registration form can now be completed online. The Waiver Form and Team List form is available for online completion and submission. The same forms can be used for both CorporateSponsor and OpenTeams.

Once the Waiver Form and Team List has been complete and submitted, please print a copy and have it signed by all team members. The signed copy of the form is required when registering your team on the 5th of September.   

Financial Remittances

Minimum sponsorship fees must be paid to ESCA no later than May 31st, 2010.

A team place is not guaranteed until fees are paid.
